Kaitlyn Anne Vincie
Kaitlyn Ann Vincie (born on December 10, 1987) is a American sports presenter and journalist. As reporter for Fox NASCAR, she presents on their weekly news and update program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first drawn to stock car racing after she received a pit-lane pass. She later graduated from Christopher Newport University and worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. She garnered attention after self-made videos of her blogs about NASCAR were released on stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born on the 10th of December 1987 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised firstly in Bridgewater before moving with her family to Warrenton in the year Vincie was in high school. She is the daughter and granddaughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother, Eleanor N. Logan was a fifth-grade school teacher as well as her grandfather who was a member of the faculty of Bridgewater College. Since her early years Vincie showed an interest in journalism. Vincie graduated from Fauquier High School in 2006. She participated in track and field competitions, and was a coach for the school's wrestling team for four years. She won the 800-meter event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie got to know journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with an abundance of information. In 2010 Vincie completed her degree at Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's degree in communication. Vincie worked as an intern for the athletics department of the university. She also worked for Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. After getting a pit-lane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race, Vincie did her senior dissertation about gender inequality in auto racing. Her influences are Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
