Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada on 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke, and Doug Chalke are her parents. She is the middle child, having an older sister, Natasha Chalke, and one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah's first acting role was in City Boy (1992), an adaptation of a film for television. After her debut film was a success, Sarah auditioned for the role of "Becky" from Roseanne (1988). The show was seeking someone to fill in for Alicia Goranson quit the show to attend college. Sarah completed her high school graduation in the year 1995, when she was filming the season 1994-1995 of Roseanne (1988). In 1994, Sarah co-starred in the film, Ernest Goes to School (1994) as did Jim Varney. In 1996, Sarah appeared in two movies: Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996) as an actress named Krista Wilson. In 1998, a year following the time that Roseanne (1988) ended, Sarah was asked to play a character in a TV show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998). Based on Nothing Too Good For a Cowboy (1998) which the show also had a basis. In 1993 Sarah took over Becky's part on Roseanne (1988). She said that she would prefer to not perform and pursue a degree in college. [2001] (1993-1997) Was the older sister of Sara Gilbert on Roseanne (1988) However, she's actually younger. Participated in the 1999 CCMA award ceremony and presented an award for the top single of the year. September 1999: Appeared in local Vancouver theater productions, at age 8. The actress is fluent in French and German. She is a volunteer in a hospice that caters to sick children and also works for the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. Chalke is a cook who enjoys eating with her friends (especially Thai or sushi) and plays guitar as well as ski, hike (she's an instructor), and kayaking. Her father is a lawyer as are her parents mediators. They also own an agency for child adoption. Her parents accompanied her to China two years ago to assist in coordinating the adoptions of numerous orphans.
